Archaeological discovery ride

Due to access difficulties to some sites, we must limit the group to 35 people.

1st loop, duration about 1h30

Start, Capitol Square: site of the former northern gate of the roman city.

St. Peter Square / Bologna Square: Larrey tower (roman rampart, visitable in groups of 19 people) and Church St. Pierre des Cuisines (outside only).

Boulevard Armand Duportal: medieval ramparts.

Grand Boulevards tour (old route of the walls) to the Bida Street.

Place Saint-Jacques: tower of the roman wall and remains of medieval houses.

Royal garden / Resseguier Street: tower of the roman rampart.

Place des Hauts-Murats and Church of Gesu: vestige of a tower of the roman rampart and former prison.

Salin Square: southern entrance to the roman city.

Banks of the Garonne: Daurade basilica.

St. Peter Square: end of the first loop.

Possible return to the place of the welcome party or ...

2nd loop, duration about 1h30

Quai Saint-Pierre, Bazacle: ancient ford, pre-roman crossing of the Garonne.

Catalans Bridge, banks of the Garonne.

Purpan Street: Roman amphitheater.

Ancely Driveway: Roman Baths, pool remains.

Short walk to the confluence of the Garonne and the Touch then return to the place of the welcome party.
