Camping site
A disused football ground (Stade Laurent Luzzi) will be made available by the municipality of Maxéville for the velorutionaries who have brought their camping gear.
There will be dry toilets (self maintained by the users themselves), DIY showers (no hot water provided, so bring your own solar kit), electric power and a rain shelter (although not closed). There’s a wire fence around the stadium with a number coded padlock. (And as we trust you guys, we’ll even let you know the code when you get there!)
The ground is situated not far from a water treatment plant so that some smelly wafts may reach the camping site depending on the wind direction.(Anyway, there are people living there all year round, so it shouldn’t be all that bad !)
